Our Commitment: Community Engagement

We are committed to community engagement in all aspects of the Oberlin Project and to working with the larger Oberlin community to define and achieve our collective goals. Our community commitment is dynamic in response to input from the Community Engagement Team of the Oberlin Project and the wider community. Current commitments include developing open and transparent communications, creating wide and ongoing opportunities for discussion and feedback, identifying and building off of existing community assets and projects, and ensuring that the Oberlin Project creates tangible benefit for all members of our community.

The Community Engagement Team was formed following open community forums on the Oberlin Project and through an application, interview, and selection process. Within the pool of applications, selection was based upon balancing three key criteria: skillset, diversity, and organizational affiliation.
